Off-Grid Power
DMCI Power is one of the largest electricity suppliers in the off-grid market in terms of installed capacity. It has long-term power supply contracts in three of the six biggest missionary areas in the Philippines, namely Masbate, Palawan and Oriental Mindoro.
The company operates the first thermal plant in the off-grid market. Located in Masbate, the 15MW facility can also run on biomass fuel.
By 2023, its total generation capacity will expand by 20% with the commercial operation of additional thermal, diesel and solar power plants in Masbate and Palawan.
